An antique Japanese Meiji era Ginbari enamel vase. The ground of the vase is enameled in a turquoise shade. The vase is enameled with polychrome images of fish and blossoming sakura flowers made in the Cloisonne technique. Ginbari is a Japanese cloisonne technique when clear enamel is laid over a stippled silver layer applied to the copper sheet body.
Dimensions: H 9 1/2 in. All measurements are approximate.
