Schmidt has been … Read more Beautiful modular sofa, manufactured by Durlet, Belgium, 1970s. The design is from the hand of Anita Schmidt. Schmidt has been working together with Durlet since the founding of the company in 1966. Form, function and ergonomics are the goals to which all her designs are subjected before they become definitive models. The sofa consists of four seating elements made in a dark chocolate brown with a nice patina, quality leather. The elements in two sizes can be changed in position, as free standing elements or even a love seat. The sofa stands in a very good condition and is hardly ever used. Very clean and taken well care off. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
