Nystrom. Hilary Jurica, the illustrator of the Jurica Biology Series, received his doctorate degree in the 1922, and this series followed as he continued his work in the field. Later versions in color of the Series are more often seen, though still rather hard to find, but these early pieces are true relics of the era. Beautiful drawings with no color, original canvas backing; this piece not only has a great look but has historical significance, quite the conversation piece! Condition is overall very good considering age, some browning along top and bottom as commonly seen and original top dowel missing - seller will repair with a new dowel prior to shipping out so that it can easily be hung. Measures approximately 54" wide including dowel and 44" long. See less
