A tall Dutch Empire style chest crafted from mahogany and ebonized wood, made during the 1800s. This impressive case piece has six drawers, sharing a key between them for working locks, bookmatched on the fronts and each with two ring drawer pulls for easy accessibility. Note the thin, fluted texture on the oval handles for a distinct look. Ebonized columns flanking the roomy drawers round out the chamfered front corners and are topped with ball finials. Thick, block feet lift the case from the floor. Cleaned and polished with a French paste wax, this antique chest of drawers is ready for your interior.
