Limited edition (42/150) intaglio colored etching by Mary Teichman, titled “Recollection” created for the Print Club of Albany Presentation Print in 1993. Signed, numbered, titled and dated by the artist in pencil. Sheet size: 16 x 12 inches; print size: 9 x 6 inches, plate line to plate line. Printed on deckle-edge paper. Mint condition, from the private collection of a member of the Print Club of New York.
Mary Teichman was born in 1954 to artist parents. She attended Cooper Union in New York City, and after graduating began printmaking at a Manhattan print shop. In the late 1980s, she moved to Easthampton, MA. Her work can be found in the Corcoran Musuem of Art, the Brooklyn Museum, the Duxbury Art Museum, and the Carnegie Institute. She has exhibited in hundreds of jury selected exhibitions, and earned many awards from such organizations as the Society of American Graphic Artists, the National Arts Club, the American Color Print Society, and the Print Club of Albany.
