To make ZIPPERED pillows with an envelope opening: I have sewn blue zipper horizontally in the centre of the back side. Made a stitch trim so that the fabric will be held in place and not be caught in the zipper teeth. A zipper closure in the back of a pillow keeps the pillow cover on the pillow form but allows it to be removed for easy laundering.

Cover Dimensions without Pompon:
21x21 inches. This size is an approximation and is not an exact measurement. There may be a slight variation due to the material being fabric. It can be stretched more or less. It fits for an insert 22x22 inches. The finished dimensions in all my covers are always slightly smaller than the pillow inserts; creating a form-fitting designer pillow that is nice and plump.
