The desk features a curved, barrel cover with symmetrical burlwood patterns. The cylinder door that slides up and down to reveal or conceal built-in pigeonholes, shelves, and a flat writing surface. The writing surface has a leather top and slides out for desk work. Below the roll-top, there are multiple drawers for storage, each adorned with ornate carved wooden handles. This is very solid, sturdy and structurally well made. This is very heavy and weighs approximately 300lbs. The wood finish detailing and design are all all in good condition with the exception of the lower right corner motif has some damage. There are no keys available. The barrel top and drawers & leather desktop could probably use some wax on edges to make opening and closing go more smoothly. The leather is in good condition but edging has some wear. Please enlarge and look at photos carefully as they are a large part of the description. less
