A lovely vintage photogravure, full-color print, after the painting "Tigre Attaquant Un Buffle" (Fight Between a Tiger and Buffalo, 1908), by Henri Rousseau. Comes from a limited edition art folio published by Les Editions Du Chene, Paris, France, in 1951. Signed in the print (printed). Printed on one side. Hand tipped-in on a board of heavy paper. Information regarding the original artwork will be found, in French, under the piece. Numbered on the board. Very Good condition of the print with minor foxing on the back; some age wear and foxing on the board; never framed.

The original painting is oil on fabric, 66 15/16"H x 74 5/8"W, and it was a gift of the Hanna Fund to the Cleveland Museum of Art in 1949.
