Designed and signed by Charles J Noke for Royal Doulton's 'Isaac Walton Ware' range. Isaac Walton Ware was introduced in 1905 and is decorated with a series of images based on Izaak Walton's work 'The Compleat Angler', first published in 1653. This piece is in excellent vintage condition.

This small but powerful vase features four fishermen panels around the outside underneath a willow tree border. Doulton backstamp on bottom. Item has no cracks or chips top to bottom. Minor discoloration inside bottom. Normal crazing and light scratches on top of one fisherman panel ( see enlargement).
