Pair of blown art glass vessels/vases by Rick Nicholson, artists signature and year etched on lower side of each piece, 1984 and 1983. Both vessels have in common, the same dominant red, accented with translucent and luminescent bubbles and abstract forms. One vase is slightly larger than the the other making these a lovely complimentary pair. Rick Nicholson is an art glass artist based in Southern California. He and his wife, Janet, still operate a studio there. Their daughter, Hannah, is a second generation art glass artist forming her own company, Nicholson van Altena Glass in 2018.
