This Andy Warhol rare vintage 2003 " SuperWarhol " Pop Art offset lithograph print extra large volume hardcover exhibition art book is an incredibly special and unique book to add to your library collection.

The stated 1st edition book is printed and bound in Italy in 2003 on the occasion of the " SuperWarhol " exhibition at The Grimaldi Forum in Monaco. It features an expansive catalogue survey collection of the artworks of the Pop Art master Andy Warhol, with accompanied compelling text authored by editor Germano Celant.
Andy Warhol ( 1928 - 1987 ) is one of the singularly most well known Contemporary artists of all time. His imagery is recognized worldwide. His infamous life, artworks, and creative endeavors are like no other artist. He is recognized as the very first artist to use common everyday objects and view them in a completely different way while paying homage to their role in our society. Glorifying the common as the beautiful. His technique utilizing a silkscreen method combined with hand finishing in a signature palette of vibrant color hues make the work stand on its own and loved by millions.
This beautifully produced, outstanding exhibition volume presents an unprecedented look at the artist's production of largest-scale works and installations, created from early 1960 through 1986. The exhibition was of extraordinary nature. Both grand in scale and importance. Large images are an essential part of Warhol's work. He searched for the maximum power of familiar images by expanding them, sometimes becoming almost complete Abstractions.

The rare out of print 1st edition large volume hardcover art book measures 12" W X 12" H X 2" D, with 540 pages. It features 495 offset lithograph print illustrations, including 250 in color, 15 multipage fold-outs, list of works, biography, and selected bibliography.
