This is part of Chairish’s Costume Jewelry assortment.
Goldtone oval light and dark faux-amethyst with clear round and baguette rhinestones clip earrings. Marked crown "Trifari Design Pat. Pend." Measure: 3/4 inches long by 1 inch wide. Condition: Very good; there is some slight bumpiness to the goldtone on the front of one earring which isn't really noticeable except upon close inspection. Earrings like these except in a different color combination were featured in a 1953 advertisement. It is also an Alfred Philippe design. Although the earrings weren't patented, the matching bracelet is patented with design #169,218.
