This painting was purchased from the artist by an individual. You can see it marked as sold on the artist's website. I purchased it from that individual. I am the second owner of the painting.
Robert Samick is an American artist. He has been inspired by nature and travel and has been influenced by many artists. Some of them are Winslow Homer, Andrew Wyeth, Vincent Van Gogh, Claude Monet, Frida Kahlo, Albert Bierstadt, J. M. W. Turner, and Childe Hassam. Traveling has enriched his color and form sensitivity. He is interested in the interplay of light, color and shape.
Painting measures 28" long, 1" deep and 22" tall.
Frame measures 31 1/2" long, 1 1/8" deep and 25 1/2" tall.
