Haeger Potteries, headquartered on the clay rich banks of Illinois Fox River NW of Chicago, was founded in 1871. A young german immigrant named David G. Haeger founded the company originally known as Dundee Brickyard. Over many generations and 145 years of family leadership, this small town brickmaker was to become America's oldest and largest production pottery. In 2016, Haeger closed their doors. Making Haeger pieces coveted and collectible in recent years.
