Circa Early … Read more This Really is a Great Looking and Very Rare - Hard to Find Model Cast Iron Dog Doorstop. Circa Early 20th Century. It is Rendered in the Traditional English Staffordshire Pottery Dog Style and I Believe that it was Most Likely Made in England. It is as Identified on Page 146 of The Doorstop Book as "Cavalier King Charles Spaniel" - Book Value $550 to $750 But Note However that One has Much Better All Original Paint!. Maker is Unidentified but it has a Model Number 1296 in the Casting on the Back - See Last Photograph in my Listing. It is Very Heavy Solid Cast Weighing 8 Pounds. It is in Excellent Condition - Still Retains its All Hand Paint Brush - Oil Painted Features. It has Very Nice Original Patina and it Displays Beautifully. Few Age and Use Related Paint Chips Here and There. No Damage.
It Measures Overall Approx. 9 1/4 inches Tall x 7 inches Long x 4 1/2 inches Wide - Deep at Base.
