Great, old brass and glass hourglass or egg timer. Although the sand moves, I cannot guarantee it moves at the correct speed for timing anything :). The brass has lots of patina and there is some discolouration on the white rubber base. This can be hung by the loop or set on a table. The arm with the loop moves up and down and flips to turn the timer over. Great office or country kitchen decor.
