Ferns and leaves are intertwined on each piece. The hallmarks identify the pieces as being made in London in 1875. They include the Lion Passant which is the standard silver mark, the animal inside the shield identifying it as made in London, the letter "U" which is the date letter and the Queen's profile. The pieces are also marked "GA". The pieces are enclosed in a case with fabric lining. The measurement in the listing are of the case. The fork measures 10.13 inches long x 2.25 inches wide.
