We are offering a well detailed pair of hand-carved cedar sculptures by folk artist John B. Wikoff (Presque Isle, Michigan) depicting a horse and a foal with amazing lines and ears made of bark. Wikoff created these pieces circa 1902-1903, and typical of his pieces, they are unsigned or marked. The original seller acquired real estate in Presque Isle, Michigan, from the Wikoff family where these items were located and their provenance shared.
