The base is topped with a metal slant shade with cut-outs to allow the heat from the bulbs to escape and to add to the uniqueness of the fixture. A chain extends from the top loop to hang the chandelier from the ceiling. There is a loop at the other end of the chain but will need a canopy added if you desire. The fixture has been rewired.
