These drinking horns originate from the province of Dagestan in the Caucasian region of the former USSR, circa 1950s. Drinking horns are traditionally filled with wine and often used for ceremonial purposes in many Caucasian cultures. Each natural bovine horn features an ornamental silver alloy cap to both ends which are hand-etched with organic patterning and have an Etruscan chain between the two caps.
