It has the … Read more This stunning French Art Deco revival skyscraper style sconce was realized in the United States circa 1980. It has the shape of a traditional Geisha style hand held fan that's composed of a streamlined polished brass rhombus form that descends from the center separated by three stacked glass forms inserted perpendicular to the direction of the lustrous striated metal fronts. With its dynamic silhouette and a refreshing new sophisticated modernist perspective, this sconce is a delight for enthusiasts of Art Deco design but also great modernist design in general. It would be a winning addition to any style of interior from classic Deco to Contemporary. It's wired to American standards and is in excellent vintage condition but can be hard-wired by a professional electrician if wall control is desired. See less
