This hand knotted wool antique Persian Karaja Heriz runner features a column of distinctive medallions and amulets similar to those found in Caucasian rugs. The central hexagonal latch-hook motif takes center stage anchoring the composition. Framing the field, a primary rust color border with X-shapes, crosses and eight-pointed stars is flanked by inner and outer guard borders with simple blossoms along Meander tendrils.
