It would make for a great console table to frame in a seating space, or an entertainment center, or even a server. There is so much detail in this piece. Very heavy!! You will need multiple people to carry this. The lid attaches in a carved slot. The top surface is 85x21, though the lid had a bit of a lip so the flatter area is about 17" opposed to 21".
