Spectacular antique bed with headboard and footboard made of carved hardwood.
Large headboard with oval top carved with acanthus leaves, visible from both sides and flanked by two large pilasters. Footboard also with two pilasters.
The four pilasters on the four sides of the bed are faceted with fine marquetry, with lentil-shaped feet and solid carved tops decorated with plant motifs.
Decorated with moldings, carvings, and herringbone marquetry in contrasting colors.
