Marcello Fantoni (1915-2011) was an Italian ceramic artist known for his innovative designs and technical mastery. He was born in Florence and studied at the Istituto d'Arte della Seta, a school for textile and ceramic design.

Fantoni's work is characterized by its bold forms, abstract motifs, and use of color and texture. He was known for his experimentation with different techniques, including glaze application, firing methods, and sculptural forms.
