This opulent hand-knotted wool Persian Kirman style rug features an intricate centre medallion with a stylized floral motif in creamy-beige, burgundy and pink. The medallion floats on a bed of onyx with a garden of bouquets of pink hued roses. The cut out field of black is framed in a Kerman style border of overlapping crests with spandrels blooming with branches of rose bushes. Ornate corner palmettes alternate with floral bouquets rimmed with thin floral guard bands. This gorgeous Chinese rug in a traditional Persian style will add a touch of opulence to any living area.
