Monumental European Oval Giltwood Gesso Mirror, Late 19th-Early 20th Century
Offered for sale is a late 19th or early 20th-century monumental oval gesso and giltwood mirror from Europe. The crown of the mirror is embellished with ornate and detailed acanthus leaf designs and draped with descending garlands. The mirror is quite impressive and will be a centerpiece of any interior.
It has one area as shown with a loss to the edge but otherwise has a wonderful antique patina overall.
