Well crafted studio pottery vase. Matte white slip over red bodied earthenware with glazed interior and sgraffito and yellow overlapping scale decoration.
Signed on base with initials CH inside two concentric circles.
This well-crafted vessel stands just under 7 inches tall. In plan view it is a flattened ellipse which measures approximately 4 1/2" long by just under 2 inches.
The white slip overlay is not highly finished as evidenced by a star shaped kiln-pop (see photos). Obviously handcrafted with asymmetric lean.
