A large and elegant pair of lamps adapted from bronze columnar candelabra. Resting on trifid bases with crisp architectural details, the reeded dark patinated bronze columns contrast dramatically with the elaborate gilded ornament. Three scrolling candle arms echo the shape of the bases and the fourth central candle cup has been wired for twin bulb fittings. Nice quality casting. Early 20th century. Good antique condition, with light wear, some wear to the gilding. Each with two bobèches, missing a rear one on each- not eye catching. Light wear to the bases, switches built into the bases. Lamp shades are new, deep asparagus green.
