A densely layered oil piece, in which each layer eclipses the previous.
Horizontal lines exploring lime green, yellow and purple. Followed by semi figurative swirls, which are in turn scraped away with a palette knife. Layered with muddy magenta before ending with purple and turquoise together.
This is part of the artist’s ongoing practice, where he intuitively paints for a few hours each day, allowing for his mood and perception of the day to influence the work.
