It features a patinated brass base and rod. The iconic marbled opaline glass top shade resembles a fried egg in shape - hence its unofficial common name: the fried egg. This particular example was made during the early 1940s. The design is similar to lamps from poul henningsen, paavo tynell, asea, bergboms etc. Measurements: h: 44 cm, diameter shade/base: 17/12.5 cm.
