Possibly from the Minoan culture by having a light background accented with contrasting colors (turquoise, orange, red) executed in lifelike painted humans and/or sea creatures. Handles are cast bronze in the shape of dolphins with a beautiful patina. Sea creatures (the dolphins) and stylized human figures are characteristic of Minoan culture. The label on the bottom states: Copy from Union of Greek Ceramatists. Handmade. No: 59. See less
