Large Swedish Ceramic Vase by Anna-Lisa Thomson for Upsala Ekeby, 1940s.
Very fine and very rare vase from renowned maker, Upsala Ekeby. The vase was designed by Anna-Lisa Thomson in the early 1940s. The horizontally striped decor with drip glaze from the top is extremely rare and it is in excellent vintage condition without any damages or cracks. It is marked to the bottom. The vase measures 29.5 cm in height, 16.5 cm as the widest diameter to the body and 10 cm in diameter of the base. This piece has an attribution mark,
