* Born in Cologne in 1952, Klaus vom Bruch studied at the California Institute of the Arts in Valencia under John Baldessari. Initially, he worked almost exclusively with video and the collage-like superimposition of documentary footage, advertising elements and self-recordings. The transmission of information and technology always play an essential role in his artworks.
