Huge and striking antique gilt Louis XVI style mirror. (King Louis XVI of France).
It comes from France around 1860 and still has its original mercury glass mirror.
This piece has a beautiful gold leafed wooden frame, with elegant corners, beads and beautiful ornamental floral and foliage details in the finest hand carved quality.
Notice the decoration of the frame so exquisitely placed on the top of the mirror.
