Scandinavian minimalism! This fun bar stool is a well -known design by Alvar Aalto made for Teatro Corso in Zurich. His first model was made in 1933. Absolutely a must have for the connoisseur. This classic is produced by Artek. Model 64. Alvar Aalto is known for its organic Bentwood forms. Beautiful craftsmanship by the laminated curved oak wood. The then innovative bending technology still makes an impression. In 1933 the first original model was made with a metal ring. This has been replaced by a matching birch wood ring from the 1950s.
