Monumental hand carved high relief from a single piece of wood (we believe this to be Teak wood) panel featuring a tropical scene with hunter, bathing beauty, monkeys, deer, birds and tropical plants. Likely originating from Indonesia, this piece is more stunning in person than can be captured in photos. The size alone is astounding, but the craftsmanship is so beautiful it's hard to look away. This is a very special piece for a very special place and will elicit endless conversations. Great in so many settings including Hawaiian, Tahitian, tropical, beach, tiki, mid-century modern, eclectic, boho, and so many others. Due to its large scale it would also be a great focal piece in a hotel, restaurant or public building or an amazing headboard. It is in very good vintage condition.
