* by the artist Matt Mullican (* 1951)
* Mullican studied at the California Institute of the Arts, worked as a professor at the Hochschule für bildende Künste in Hamburg from 2009 to 2019 and taught as a guest lecturer at other universities in New York, Amsterdam and London. Mullican's art is known for its expressive colors and striking geometry, with which he breaks down the boundaries between high and low art and creates new paths of creativity.
