Made … Read more This is a Great Looking and Quite Rare 3 Color Banded & Black Seaweed Decorated Yellow Mocha Ware Mug. Made in England. Circa Early to Mid 19th Century. Larger in Size Measuring Approx 3 5/8 inches Tall x 5 3/8 inches Long x 4 1/8 inches Wide at Base. It is in All Original as has Survived Over the Years Condition. It has No Old Repairs that are Actually Very Common with These Types of Antique Utilitarian Yelloware & Mochaware Pieces. It Displays beautifully. Imperfections Noted - it Has an Assortment of Tight Hairline Cracks and a Few Very Small Top Rim Chips All of Which Would have Occurred as a Result of Many Years of Every Day Use. Note However that it is Still Structurally Strong and Sound and Even though I would Strongly Advise Against it I Do Believe that it is Still Usable - Functional. I would Also Note! that the Staining in the Cracks, Glaze Crazing Etc. indicates that This Mug was actually still used for Many Years Along the Way. It Displays Beautifully.
