The X shaped construction can be stored and packed flat, but in order to stay open, the tension from two removable steel wire brackets hold it in place. Also included, clear silicone glass holders. Table top is not included.

The Ontario based designer is best known for his award winning steamer chairs and other furniture designs from the late 1960s to the 1990s. Like many Canadian designs, this table base is inspired by the local landscapes and steamboat industries of Nova Scotia.

The table base does not have a manufacturer's tag or designer signature, but based on the shape, materials, age and previous owner's notes, it is safe to say that is a Thomas Lamb design. See less
