This set of twelve (12) vintage lithographs (offset) by Al Hirschfeld (USA 1903-2003) depict caricatures of Harlem performers c. 1940 in Hirschfeld iconic modernist style.. All are signed in the plate. The reverse of each image has descriptive text of the next image in the series. Great for a large wall treatment or several smaller groupings. Dimensions; Apprx: 9" x 12"
Al Hirschfeld was an influential caricaturist and playwright who created a visual language of modern art through his drawings of celebrities and characters.
