The company was best known for its firetrucks, but also produced a range of military vehicles in the decade that preceded the Second World War. In this poster, Laffly is advertising the speed and effectiveness of their trucks - le "Rapide des camions" (the fast trucks) is definitely an appropriate mention for something that drives faster than trains! (Source: Wikipedia) The poster is linen backed and in excellent condition - it is a from a second printing of the classic deco poster created by Roggero in the 1930s. less
