The diameter of the fattest part below the neck is more like 11"

Weighs 23 lbs.

Structurally in very good condition, There were a few surface dings on the rim and toward the bottom of the base that were superficial. These were smoothed, color matched and finish blended to match the original tin-glazed brilliant finish.
The base was cleaned and brightened a few shades naturally with soap, water, baking soda and a dobie.
This helped to reveal the purity of the original earthenware that the artisans in Italy used to fashion these beauties.
Restoration was to the finish only - not structural and kept to a minimum and localized.
Even now it is not perfect- but overall the re-conditioning has given it a re-birth of its original brilliance.
The whole stand has also been cleaned and polished.
Art Nouveau is graceful, timeless and blends well with many other styles. See less
