There are no chips or cracks anywhere on this lamp. The total length of the lamp is 30”L. It measures 12” from the bottom of the harp to the bottom of the finial. The Blanc de chine part measures 12 1/2”L. This is an antique vase made into a lamp as there is a lot of kiln grit in the porcelain which was prevalent in antique Chinese vases circa 1850. The pierced part was done by hand, and they added a scene of birds sitting in cherry blossomed trees. The pierced part doesn’t light up, but taking it to a professional would be an easy fix. I would have it rewired but keep the Bakelite plug, they are worth money. This beautiful lamp is a work of art, I have had many of these lamps, all classics but this one is special! See less

This lamp is in good condition, the Bakelite plug was made for high end lamps like Tiffany, Handel, Pairpoint, B&H but I feel the lamp part was an old vase because there is kiln grit in the porcelain. The lamp works fine, but needs a professional to rewire it and make the pierced part light up.
