A well accomplished oil on canvas maritime painting of the "Anita" maritime clipper ship entering the Hong Kong harbor. The painting is titled in gold paint to the lower margin "Ship Anita Captain George A Thompkins Entering Hong Kong 27, November, 1869.
Set inside a period ebonized and partial gilt frame - known design for the Hong Kong Trade.
