1846 / 1847 Elkington and Company English silverplate cream and sugar. Larger than our modern cream pitchers and sugar bowls, these larger for sugar chunks or later sugar cubes.
Both are engraved with floral decoration around an empty cartouche ready for your initials.
Remnants of gold wash in the interior of each piece.
Marked on the bottom with Elkington marks, one with 1846 "6" dated code and the other with 1847 "7" date code.
Cream 5.5 inches high, sugar 8 inches wide from handle to handle.
