North Carolina themed birdhouse in a rustic Appalachian backwoods home style. It’s got a rusted tin roof, wood framed, and a refrigerator on the front porch— what more could a bird ask for? There is nowhere for a post to go so I am assuming it either has to sit on a table or there might be a way to hang it up, I didn’t see any hooks. Upon further investigation, there is a perch this is suppose to sit atop.
This birdhouse is a well-documented piece by Bob Timberlake. It was a part of the Anti-Litter campaign “Keep America Beautiful." This item is dated circa 1970s-1980s.
