This fine jar-shaped studio ceramic vase was created by the German ceramist duo Renate & Hans Heckmann (1935 - 2021) during the 1960s. Both artists completed their education at the renowned Technical School for Ceramics in Höhr-Grenzhausen (Westerwald) in the late 1950s and early 1960s with Hubert Griemert (1905 - 1990). In 1962 Hans Heckmann took over his parents ceramic workshop together with Renate Heckmann. She changed the vision of the studio to an increasingly artistic approach over the years. This piece has an attribution mark,
