This is highly patinated. While this works, I suggest having it professionally checked and rewired. The brass socket, harp, stem, and round pieces are tarnished. The metal shade also has areas of missing paint and scratches throughout and minor rust. The cord has also collected grime over the years. While I lightly cleaned this to remove dust and grime, this remains in its original condition as found.
