Two vintage Hull USA art pottery pieces done in beautiful drip glazes in shades of brown, green, mint green and cream. The glazes blend and contrast in a way that perfectly highlights the patterns and shapes of the pieces.
The Footed Pitcher or Footed Ewer is from the no longer available Imperial F32 pattern which features an embellished diamond and frond pattern highlighted with ceramic beads.
The companion Chalice is from the also increasingly rare Imperial B26 pattern. Because of the use of the same glazes and decorating techniques, the Chalice with its church windows and grape motif makes a perfect display partner for the Ewer.
These tall statement pieces are solid, well made and nicely balanced. In their virtually unused condition, they are perfect for display as is, but would also make lovely containers for houseplants or floral displays.
